Washer and Utility sink in a room that has never had plumbing

I need to move my washer and utility sink to a room that has never had plumbing. The washer is going on an outside wall with easy access to water supply. I am just concerned about drainage. Anyone have clear directions or pictures on how the plumbing must be set to insure proper drainage?
