Washer Drain Pipe Install
I am attempting to install a new washer drain pipe. My questions are as follows...
In the basement, right above where I want to put the washer, is a drain/vent pipe. Can I run my washer drain pipe down into it without having to make a new vent pipe for the washer?
And if so where should the "p" trap be located? On the same floor that the washer is located, or can it be put basement level before the washer drain pipe enters the vent pipe already there?
