Walk-in Tubs (Seniors)


I'm looking at installing a walk-in tub for a senior who is having trouble with getting into her current tub (bad legs).

Anyone have any experience with these to say which styles are good and if so is there anything to consider before installing?
Also, what is the possibility of making a walk-in from scratch as opposed to buying a pre-formed unit (no jets required)
