I wouldn't trust on half the distance I could throw it.

Yea, I can't stand those guys who pretend to be someone else and promote their product.

They are lower than politicians if that is possible.

Then there are those that promote a special brand and come on as a 'concerned customer' of a competitor's and complains in the exact why that supports his contentions. He comes to the rescue and snubs his nose and says': See, I told they are crappy products!

But that's the net and most professional-minded people accept this obtuse rhetoric and keep moving on.

Well supposedly the Lifesource system uses a device in addition to the carbon filtration to deal with the hard water issues that makes the minerals clump together and not readily stick to fixtures/showers/appliances. I'm trying to get details from them. They claim it does not to use electricity/magnetism but haven't said what it DOES use yet. Will stay on 'em and let you guys know what I find out.

It is a great product. A friend of me installed it a few years ago and his water just turned out perfect, taste like pure springwater.
When you look at the device with the normal "scientific materialism mindset" you will have a problem. How the hell does it work?
But you must realize that modern science is just a religion and one that is very fanatically practiced at the moment.
The woman that "invented" it just had a dream, woke up in the morning, went to work and got people to help her make the device like she was shown in the dream. They did not now if it would work. It did!!! The swedish do not do scams like selling bull**** like that. All their output is like Volvo and Saab, reliable. Faking it is more the american way, isn't it!?
My friend got to know the man of this woman a little bit when he bought the device and the man told him that there had been a rush on them by BIG ones in the market wanting to buy them, but none of them would sign papers confirming that they would not discontinue the product. Why do you think?
In Africa it is growng steady since it is so cheap because no maintainance.
If you ask me it is an offworld design given to her by higher evolved beings as an answer to her thinking about and wanting to help people of the world with their waterproblems.
My friend said it has been tested extensivly by several water test laboratories in scandinavia and they understand nothing about how it can work, but it does.

Vitalized Water Products

I did quite a bit of research before buying an 'electronic' water conditioner after noticing our pipes had lost pressure because of hard water scale build-up. I finally decided to try one out, but ordered a relatively low-priced one called Calmat (I paid $325 for the whole house whereas some run up to $5,000). The science is a little iffy, but the results were great...within a few days the scale had softened (it still hasn't gone away completely, but we can now just wipe the deposits away instead of using CLR etc). I was a skeptic, but it seems to be working.

Shill alert!!!!!!

These things don't do anything to prevent hard water.

While they will reduce scale as long as the water is moving once the water stops flowing the scale will continue.

Don't throw your money away on this stuff because some guy logs on to a web site and says it works great.

The web is full of scams and these electronic water treatment systems is one of biggest.

The only thing this will do is move money form your wallet to their bank account.

I admit to falling prey to the 'placebo' effect before...I could possibly be falling again, but for now, that's ok with me. I'll let you know when it stops working.

BS ALERT!!!!!

The Swedish don't do scams but people who run scams use the word Swedish in their claims.

The the air purifier scams like the Ionic Breeze they use the Swedish Allergy foundation for their "research" which was nothing more than a front for the Ionic Breeze.

You friend DID NOT install one and get water that was just like spring water. He might have installed one but it did nothing for his water.

These "magnetic" water softeners have been around since the 30's and they do nothing to change the chemical makeup of the water. All they do is to align the electrolytes for a short time and once they pass the magnet they revert to their random states.

It always amazing how someone always knows a friend who knows the person who came up with this new idea.

This common in the perpetuation of the scam.

THESE MAGNETIC DEVICES DO NOTHING TO CHANGE THE WATER.
