Is this a viable solution for a water softener?
I live in Florida and we have some very hard water in our area of Jax. I've always wanted soft water and have considered one that uses salt. But after reading up on them I've found out that there were too many cons that out weighed the pros and canned to salt water softeners.
That lead me to finding some other alternatives but some of them seemed like snake oil and kind of gave up the search. Now I'm back and I just saw a commercial on tv for a salt free water softener and wanted to know if anyone knows anything about it.
Here's their website: http://www.easywater.com/index.aspx
If this isn't a solution what are my other alternatives for getting soft water without using a salt water softener?
I had someone test my water and it was very high. It was somewhere around 25-26ppm hardness.
