Vessel sink drains

What's the best type of drain for a vessel sink with a waterfall faucet? Which drains the fastest?

I have vessel sinks in my bathrooms. Believe me, the best type that looks decent is a popup drain. Vessel sinks drain slowly as it is since they don't have an overflow line to provide some venting. The plain flat plate drains with a bunch of holes in them do not work well at all.

I second the pop up - push plug style of drains.

Look for an assembly with a taller fall from the sink to the PTrap. If you increase this fall you can slightly increase the flow rate.
