Venting question

If you have a single story house can all the fixtures on the first floor be wet vented or be tied into the main stack at the same stack location? Reason I ask is because my first floor tub runs into the main stack which is only about 2 feet away so that stack also serves as its vent. The sink and toilet on that same floor are vented through that stack but higher up on the stack.

Yes common combination especially on older homes.

UPC rules that only 1 and 2 fixture unit fixtures may be wet vented, and are limited to vertical drainage only.

Without seeing the way yours is plumbed, it's hard to say if it's proper according to UPC.

A location would give us an idea what code you are under. Different location = different code. :whistling2::whistling2::whistling2::whistling2:
