vent pipe on roof


How far can the vent pipe go up...should it be up over the rooftop or can it be out enough to allow room for snow, etc.?

vent pipe on roof


Minimum of 12" above roof level at point of exit. Does not need to reach the height of the ridge.

agree min 12" much higher would not look right.....
