vanity sink install

This should be an easy one for most of you, but I'm new at it and want to get it right the first time. I'm installing a new sink in the existing vanity and I need to know how to seal the drain at the sink and the p-trap.

Thanks!

Use Plumbers Putty to seal the drain flange in the sink. There should be a slip-joint connection at the trap and tailpiece connection.

Thanks, majakdragon. There were gaskets included in the package for both sides of the flange that worked for sealing it, and I got the slipjoints tightened, but possibly not enough; there is a very slow leak at one of them. I guess I'll tighten them some more and see what happens.
