Valve Leaking through diverter - Low Hot Water

Installed my new symmonds valve. It leaks through the diverter. I took it apart and saw a washer, looked fine (brand new). Any thoughts?

And the water doesn't get hot, only warm.

Thanks for the help.

Valve Leaking through diverter - Low Hot Water

Looks like a shower only. Where is the diverter leaking? is the water coming to the mixing vale on the left side hot (touch it). There may be a temerature limit stop on the front of the valve. Try loosening or tightening the brass screw on the front of the valve.
