Utility Sink double Drain
Hello Everyone, the utility sink in my basement looks like its will start to leak some day soon. There is an attachment to the drain system that I have never seen before. Does any know the what the drain attachment in the picture is ? Can I remove and replace it with separate sink drains ?

Wow. I never seen an attachment like that either, you may be able to replace it with seperate drains when it leaks if you can figure out how to remove the whole thing without breaking the sink. I don't know. I'm sure someone has seen it before and can give you some suggestions. Nice pics.

You cant repipe them seperatley,Wd40 the nut ad to not break it when removing or damaging the sink. Then either cut the old trap out and leave enough of the trap arm to put a fernco coupling on and repipe with tubular pvc. Also you can try to unthread the trap arm nipple and repipe from there..

Looks like something for the plumbers museum. looks ok from the slip nut up the tail piece trap and waste arm need TLC.
