Unusual Leak Issue


copper pipe expanding and rubbing on wood will make noise and will also transfer the noise easily through the wood.

Unusual Leak Issue


My old house and current house did/does this same thing. Creaking and popping noises when draining hot water from certain locations. I didn't have any trouble selling old house or buying current house. I wouldn't worry about it unless the noise drives you crazy.
