Under slab plumbing help

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,

I'm currently digging up my basement slab to lay a french drain as well as re-plumb a toilet and shower. (See picture)

What all do I need to be concerned about? The current pipes are cast iron and will be replaced with PVC. I got a quote for 600 bucks to run a line and attach it to the main.

Is this something I should do myself? I'm assuming I use a 3-4 inch dia PVC pipe with a closet flange and a shower drain?

Thanks for reading.

Depends on how far the $600 gets you. All the way to the street? Let them do it. Just what we see? DIY it.

You'd use a 3" line as a replacement.
