unconventional solution

about one and a half years ago my boiler broke down.
I couldn't afford a new high quality boiler at that time, so I found a very unconventional solution which you can see at 1001flyingcarpets.blogspot.com

If anyone knows of another unconventional (crazy) solution, please let me know...

greetings, nique

PS: I hope it's ok to post this link to my shower - it might be very funny to see...

How about adding an electric water heater some where?

nique 12-10-2006 11:10 AM

Yes, that could be a possibility.

But as I rent this flat, I'll have to install a similar boiler sooner or later.
I don't want to spend extra money for a maybe cheaper electric water heater...

Thanks for your advice,
nique

If you rent then why do you have to front the cost, your landlord should fix this for you.

In Austria if the rent is open-ended, the hirer has to take care of maintenance (concerning everything removable in a flat, I think) and pay these costs

Time to move into a close-ended rental if there is such a thing there.
