Um is this a mess?

Don't they do similar in an island with a sink in it? I just didn't want water getting in there like it was before. Mainly from the dishwasher. Was nasty in there.

So I will have to lower the drain a bunch then so I can have the vent come out level then down over the drain ?

I also fixed the 2" downstairs so it angles in the right direction.
Did you even consider what I suggested in #26?

I can't be going into the walls. And the vent is shared with the bathroom downstairs.

Vents carry moisture so they must drain---in short order that one will fill with water and become blocked--like a P-trap.

Don't know why you didn't open the wall while the cabinet was out-
You might as well cap the 1.5" line off and put an AAV on the 2". The vent is worthless the way you have it. They should never turn back down unless it's piped as a true island vent

So that setup is good then? That is the vent. It comes in above the drain without going "up and down again"

The p-trap is under the sink. The dishwasher discharge is tied in between the bottom of the sink and the trap.
