I was a little paranoid about soldering in the confined space so I ended up going with CPVC. I've used it a few times before and have never had any leaks, plus no flames. Many hours later I finished, then we went out to eat and I tested it when we got back home...no leaks! Very happy about that. (I know it doesn't look the greatest, but if I have my way I'll never look at it again ) Thanks oh'mike for the tip on threads with tape & sealant, seemed to do the trick.
