Question

Tub diverter spout flew off!

Iam new to this site so please be patient... Although I am pretty good at least to figure out a problem and follow it out, I am now in a dilema.
My delta diverter tub spout just flew off!!! It exposed a plastic water source but I have no idea how the spout was attached. It has a flange or ring that it sits in but from there its greek to me, no screws, nuts or bolts. Somehow it was attached to the tile in the tub.
After using another tub for two days I've decided to figure out my problem without the aid of an expensive plumber.
I think this flange and spout must twist onto the plastic water souce somehow. How am I doing so far??? I have regular hot and cold water faucets so nothing is leaking .

Please help, Jo

Delta. It just screws back onto the White Plastic. If you are unable to get it on then the threads are shot. The Tub spouts are dirt cheap and easily replaced with an Allen key and some silicone.
