Trap leaking

I replaced the faucets in the bathroom but it is now leaking from the trap. I replaced the washer so I am thinking it must be the packing nut but I can not get the pipe loose that comes out of the wall to replace the nut. I tried to spray wd40 on it but it won't even budge. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Trap leaking

The pipe coming out of the wall is soldered in. You could cut it off 3" from the wall and install a 1- 1/4" coupling that has a nut and rubber ring on each side of it. Then install a new p-trap into it.

Sure looks like a Desanco to me and the fitting is brass with a nut on it like you see in the picture.
Try tapping on it with a hammer and use a pair of big channel locks to loosen.
