Are you saying the finished floor is higher then the flange by 25mm? Or is the flange now 25mm higher then the floor?
How in the world did it end up by being almost an 1" differant?

PS All most everyone on this site does not use the metric system.

long story mate, old house, dodgy re stumping job by previous owner, 7mm tile underlay plus tile glue and 10mm tile. it's probably 22mm to be exact. but the problem I have is the inlet id=s the old flared out flange that appaerently is not compatable with poly pipe. It has an elbow in it to the right which goes out the external wall. Oh yeah and it's second story toilet as well. I can pull off weather boards and try and get in there with an angle gringer and cut out the iron pipe but, man what a pain in the a#*&. sugestions?

Did I explain that the outlet is tiled into a boxed area that I can only get at by removing weatherboards? It comes in from the right hand side, sharp bend then into the toilet. It was covered over to hide the ugly iron pipe

yes, I'm from Australia. Victoria actually. And yes we are metric down here. And yes we got our arses kicked in the pool in London but lets not open up that wound. But I've got problems with my own "crap" in the water". I will try and post a photo. My problem in short is the toilet pan waste outlet is 7/8 inch to high. /Users/glenn kelly/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2012/14:08:2012/Photo on 2012-08-14 at 11.35.jpg

It didn't work. Someone around here has a link to the thread where they show how to post photos. I think Ohmike has it.
