Toilet Tank fills slowly

My toilet tank takes a little over 5 minutes to fill up after a flush. I have the ball and cock float. The water flow is good through the refill tube. When I installed the ball and cock hardware about 6 months ago, it only took about 2 or 3 minutes to fill. It has gotten progressively slower. Any suggestions on what I can do to speed it back up. Thanks

sounds like dirt. I would take the entire unit out and toss it, use Flushmaster single pc unit way better.

I agree with chunking the ball float innards. A Fluidmaster 400A fill-valve is less than $10. The instructions are great and simple for installation. Keep the instruction book as it has tips for troubleshooting should you have a problem.
