toilet seat comes loose

Anybody know of a source to get cone- or dome-shaped compliant washers to reduce side play for toilet lids. They would go on from underneath, probably backed by a fender washer.

The Web says there was something called porcafill but they seem to be out of business.

Otherwise I'll have to make my own, from wood. In this case it would help to have a lathe.
