Toilet in the same room as Oil Burner?

We are trying to find a way to at least a second 1/2 bath to our home. We have a rather large utility room with a washer and dryer, the water heater and an oil burner. The ductwork makes it pretty much impossible to wall off an area completely to add a bath there, so we thinking of just putting a toilet and sink in the same room. I was wondering if anyone can spot trouble w/ this. Airborne bacteria, combustion air, etc etc. Anything to consider. The toilet would be at best 7-8 feet from the furnace.

States that I have lived in do not allow combustion type appliances in rooms where people may be. This can be achieved though, if the units are contained in an enclosure. Codes vary from area to area so I would check Local Codes.

Well I'm guessing thats probably OK here though considering that on my street, everyone's furnice is in the same room as the washer and dryer. I'm thinking more along the lines of problems arising from airborne bacteria or whatever being close to the duct work and intake of the furnice, could that be a problem, from a slight possibility of contamination point of view?
