Toilet refilling issues

I have an American Standard toilet with a Fluidmaster 400 ballcock system. I have issues with the system not refilling after a flush, meaning we have to open it up and just tap the float and link and it fills up right away.

Toilet refilling issues

I would just replace the old Fluidmaster 400A fill valve.
They only cost about $5-$6 bucks and are very easy to change (easy illustrated directions).
Good Luck!
Mike
