Toilet leaking into -thru basement wall

I have old home with cast iron pipe from toilet to septic tank. There is a leak somewherefrom outside into wall coming thru into basement. Help onhow to find leak and ways to fix it.

Toilet leaking into -thru basement wall

At some point that old cast iron was going to leak of start plugging up from built up scale inside of it catching trash in the lines.
Instead of just patching it I'd take it all out and replace it with new PVC.
