Toilet with extra noise. (self induced)
Hi all,

Im in the process of finishing my basement and decided to move some drain lines so that I could strap the ceiling. In the process I have created a toilet that makes two extra glug glugs at the end of the flush. Im thinking its because in the process of the move the toilet has become 15 feet awayfrom the main vent stack VS the 5 feet it was before. I will update with pics in a few mins. My question is... is there a fix for this? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are the pics. You can see the runs. The pipe on the left is the vent. The next one is a toilet and the one on the far right and forward is the toilet making the gurgle. Thanks

I see a lot of san tees on their backs and few vents. Not very legal per my code

Thanks for the reply. Everything is draining well. There was only the one vent main sack in the first place. Thinking I will get a plumber in to have a look.

Is that an AAV up in the floor joist on the second picture?

HUGE NO-NO if it is.

Where's the cleanouts?
In that second picture it looks like the drain runs up hill. (may just be the angle of the picture)

I added the AAV to see if air was an issue. No change. As for grade every pipe is running down hill. There were no clean outs in the existing. I will have to read up on that. Plumber is coming today. I was hoping for a simple fix. Oh well

Is it the same toilet? Have you tried adjusting the flapper or the water level in the tank?

Yes tried that. Plumber was here he says it all comes back to poor venting. He on it. He thinks 4 hours of work. New closet flange on both toilets plus having to drop the one toilet out into a bulk head.

What did he say about all the short sweep fittings?

He didn't say anything but should like the whole run is being replaced.
