Need a little more info. What brand and model toilet is it? I have not worked with any toilets that didn't have bolts holding them down, even though some newer models have hidden fasteners.

Seems like I've seen a Toto w/c without bolt holes, I remember a carrier that it sat on, so no fasteners were showing, but I couldn't find it on a quick google search. Remember seeing one in a parts house showroom a few years ago

Perhaps it's a wall-mount?

Wouldn't that make all the water spill out the front, and make it really hard to sit on?

Not if it's in the space station!

John Wayne made one cameo appearance on "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1962) {The Indians Are Coming (#5.20)}_ (1967), to be specific. And when asked how he wanted to be paid, his answer to their question, in return, was "Give me a fifth of bourbon - that'll square it."

I just did a complete bathroom redo and went with a dual flush Toto Aquia. Very nice toilet but it's "skirted" so there are no traditional bolt holes. You mount two rear plastic pieces to the floor and then the toilet bolts to these. No bolts to the flange. I love the look of the skirted toto's and it has a soft close lid that's great with kids:
