toilet bubbles

I have a single story home. The master bath toilet bubbles when flushed and fill water to the brim. I am on a septic with drain field…I’ve noticed one of the master bath sinks also runs slow….no other issues…. Toilet is maybe 15 years old. I pumped the tank maybe 18 months ago…..the tank alarms did go off a week ago but has not sounded again……should I start by pumping again or having the main line cleared or? Thanks

Does your toilet bubble when you use any other fixtures on the line?

Do you have a bathtub in that room?

Fill up the bathroom sink with water, and then let it out with the faucet still running. Do the same with the tub, and you can even try them both at once for full effectiveness.

If water backs up into the toilet, then you have a clog.

If only air bubbles, it's most likely a venting problem. Air is not being pushed through the toilet vent, but rather up through the toilet when other fixtures are being used.

There's most likely a blockage in the main septic line between the house and the tank.

You mentioned tank alarms. Does everything first run into a sump basin, then get pumped to a drain field?
