tie in washer drain to toilet?

Hello everyone,
I am moving my laundry room over about 15 feet on the other side of a finished bathroom in the basement. Now i am too far away from the washer drain (It ties into the main drain that runs from upstairs) Can I tie the new drain into the existing toilet?

I am also moving the main drain on the basement floor over in the same direction as the new laundry room. Since i am already doing that would it make more sense to tie the washer drain into that?

Cheers
Mark
