Thumping sound since bathro remodel

Hello,
A month or so ago I finished an upstairs bath remodel. At one point I had to cut away subfloor around the toilet flange because subfloor was damaged from water. The subfloor patch didnt go back in as pretty as I would have liked but seemed to be fine. I then layed backer board and tiled.
After fixing the subfloor I also noticed a nail had pierced a vent pipe in the wall so I took it out and patched up the vent pipe.
These are the only plumbing related things I've touched.
Now everything is back together and when I flush the toilet I hear this thumping that sounds like water dripping onto the dry wall on the main floor. Sometimes just running the sink can produce the noise too. Any ideas?

Did the patch span two floor joists?

Not really. What is under the toilet/stack?

How did you "patch" it?

Yes it spanned two joists and nothing stuck out as odd under the drain, just a standard trap configuration. I even tightened the bolts thinking it would tighten the connection of the toilet to the flange if the flange were flopping around causing the drain to hit the wall/ joist causing the noise.
Maybe if the flange were not secured properly? Or maybe the new subfloor not sitting right? I have no idea! At least there is no leak I guess but I wish I had a solution

I patched it by cutting out the affected area and then cutting two new pieces to fit around the flange spanning 2 joists and some floor patch around the cut
