Threaded Elbows

I have two PEX pipes (hot and cold) going horizontally into the wall. How would I connect them to a shower valve which has the two inlets on the sides (the PEX pipes are much lower than the valve)?

My idea is to use elbows to make the pipes go vertical, and then either FNPT adapter elbows or elbows and FNPT adapters to go into the valve. My main question is should I use threaded elbows or normal elbows and straight adapters? My concern is that the elbows have to point in a certain direction and what if the point where it's snug doesn't have the elbow pointing down?

And should I use straight couplings instead of the bottom elbows I was talking about and just bend the PEX pipe?

I'd put PEX x MIP into the valve. After that, I'd bend the pex without compromising the designed radius. Or use pex 90's

Plumbers lingo-
MIP= male iron pipe thread
FIP= female iron pipe thread
So the adapter I referenced would be PEX x male iron pipe thread

So I should use a PEX to female thread elbow?

And having the elbow's PEX side not point in the right direction when tightened is not an issue?

What kind of threads are on the valve? Most are female. if yours is female then screw in pex x MIP adapters and run pex down to your supplies. I'm not understanding why you need threaded 90's. If you do use 90's, just tighten them until they line up where you want. With 1/2" pipe, you don't need to go super tight to get a good seal- hard to explain when to stop tightening- trial and error I guess

This is the valve I'm considering using, and it has male threads:
