Is there such thing as a clear PEX tube?

HVAC_NW Seasoned DIYer   Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 187	Is there such thing as a clear PEX tube? It's a 1/2" pipe that looks translucent, much like 1/4" and 3/8" polyethylene(non-cross linked). Where I've seen it, it was fitted using Sharkbite fittings. I couldn't find much info on polyethylene tubes. I found some info on larger ones, but they're opaque like black ABS pipes.

Clear semi-ridgid tubing which has the characteristics of PEX, uses S.S. fittings and crimp rings--YES. Used at my previous employer site for sulfuric acid transfer. Used now at my current work site to transfer various chemicals. Did I mention expensive?
