thanks/psi setting


Hi thanks for all the input on the pumbing projects .the pressure regulator is in and no leaks! what psi setting do you recommend (considering a backflow is inline)...60 -65 was what i was shooting for.I used to have 82 w spikes of 120.will be putting expansion tank in also.
any info is appreciated

50 -60 is about normal

thanks..
-if the pressure to home is set at 55psi would setting the expansion tank at 52 or 53 psi be a good setting?

A setting of between 50-55psi on your expansion tank will be good if you have your prv set at 55psi. You want to be sure you dont have higher pressure in your expansion tank or its going to do you no good at all.

thanks.yea i know the air is never to be above the line pressure ,which is why i dont like to match it -sometimes just a hair difference/above and it doesnt work. its at 52 now(air)..
