Tap Water High Alkalinity, High pH, High Copper
 

Our tap water in San Antonio TX tested over 420ppm Alkalinity, 9 pH and Copper 3.1ppm. I think the softener is set too high because I am totally thirsty after I start drinking it. Could this be causing these elevated numbers? What can we do to correct this problem if it isn't related to the softener?
