Tank below the pump

I am replacing the well tank below the pump the original location was beside the pump, just want to know if this will effect anything with the system. Thanks

There's not enough info here. A diagram would be helpful.

Tank below the pump

Your post is a little confusing. You say the pump is over the tank then say it's beside the pump.
Is this just any empty storage tank, a pressure tank with a bladder in it, sand sediment tank?
