taco 219-4 flo check installation


is it possible to replace just the "guts" of this check valve without haveing to sweat a new one in? I replaced a tempering valve this way ...can the same be done for this?

taco 219-4 flo check installation


My concern is pressure? This valve is for baseboard heat ...and I dont know what kind of pressure will ensue once I take it off? I turned on a hot water faucet to aleviate pressure when i did the mixing valve and very little water came out...hoping this is similar? Any thoughts?
