don't think permanent fix right now.. figure out a way to get a very very long garden hose on the discharge (whether you use PVC and glue to connect or just rubber bushings and clamps or whatever). then you take that hose ANYWHERE with trial and error to find a spot. I have two setups for my discharge, one that is near the house for light water situations, and then the other setup i put a 50 foot garden hose on it and i can run 12 hours one side of the yard, then move it to the other etc etc..

the only thing you will notice is that a garden hose is smaller, so if it used to take 20 seconds to empty your pit, it now might take a minute.

Strange they dig our drainage ditches every 2 years here. I would call your favorite local politician...
