I'm not sure what you mean by wiring. The check valve would be a rubber valve connecting to runs of 1 1/2 in. PVC discharge line. I just don't want to create another issue since I don't know if this is possible. I'd spend $10 on a check valve if I know something is going to be damaged by my attempt.

Sump Pump Discharge to pond??


Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I'm suggesting moving the water in two stages.
1) Basement to a new drywell.
2) If drywell fills up, a new pump within the drywell pumps the water through the incorrectly sloped pipingn.

From what I have read, 2 check valves can cause an air lock to form between the two valves. The lock would stop the water flow when the pump was working.
