sump pump


Hi there i have a goulds sump pump, it has a electrical box by the fuse panel with buttons that say silence horn rest and test buttons there is also a red light on that says high water level about 2 weeks ago the light was on but it was dimm now it is bright if i put the button on horn reset it rings also conneted are 2 sensors that go to the alarm system any ides the pump model is pe41p1 aprox age 2 years

sump pump


You didn't mention it, but did you look inside the sump basin? Is the water level up to the top? If the high water alarm is going off, that tells me the water level is "high" and the sump pump is not turning on.

there are to areas the one beside the water heater has an opening and i can not see any water (that is the one with the alarm sensor and the goulds electrical box wire and it has a vent that goes out side the other one only has the house alarm sensor i can not see inside this one but i can hear water drops hitting the water
