sump pump

Little vage on the question.
Are you saying there's non stop water running into the pit and the pump never shuts of?
If so you have a major issue with a plumbing leak under that slab.

Or is the pump just not shutting off with the pit empty.
If so the float is stuck, hitting agiant the side of the pit or the switch is bad.
