stuck set screw


Any ideas on how to remove a frozen shower handle set screw on a delta faucet

stuck set screw


If you haven't stripped the head spray with PB Blaster or Rustbuster and let sit. Try again tommorrow

stuck set screw


I actually had to figure this problem out just last week. I took a 1/2" metal drill bit in my drill and drilled the head off the screw. Then the handle slid right off, and I could get pliers on the screw and screw it out. Of course the screw was brass, so I am assuming your screw is brass also, if it is stainless or even steel it would be much more difficuly to drill out.

" I second that with additional thing to do shut the water off to the shower turn the handle so the set screw is facing up fill the hole with the stuff plumber recommended. let it soak all night."
