Stuck brackets on bathroom sink
The white plastic brackets that you screw on the bottom of the faucet to secure it to the sink were apparently puttied/caulked onto the
thing (ppl who did the plumbing in our house were not too bright). We've tried everything to get them off so I can replace the leaking faucet. Is there a tool for those or something to loosen the putty or caulk or whatever it is they used?? HELP!!

Stuck brackets on bathroom sink
If space is tight, then I'd use a basin wrench. Otherwise, a pair of slip joint pliers work wonders in loosening those nuts.

Stuck brackets on bathroom sink
I use my multifunction oscillating tool and cut them off.
