Stub out Connections?
What is the better way to make the transition from the water pipes coming up in the wall out to the valves that will feed a facet?
In my existing house, I have a bunch of these.... http://cache.vendaria.com/integratio..._uid_202029381 They nailed them to a stud and the valve hangs off the pipe sticking out. Besides the fact that they are PIA to solder, they are not actually the easiest thing to use. What do the prfessionals use? I want to make sure it's secure and low maintenance....as in not having to worry about it. |
what type of pipe being used if soldering is a pain.

Ddawg,
If running copper lines, then I use what you have. If it's pex before the stub out then I use a pex stub out elbow like this, http://www.siouxchief.com/Resource_/.../C630X246E.jpg |
