Sticky Moen Shower
I have a sticky shower faucet. It was sticking and it seems to be pulling out if the wall. So I removed the knob and sprayed WD40 and it has made it worse, it almost feels as if the shaft is bent. Any easy way to remedy this?
Thanks in advance for the help.

A new cartridge. Pull it out and take it with you. Many hardware and big box stores stock replacements.

Be sure to turn off the water supply to the fixture first.

Thanks for the help. Removing the cartridge...any secrets or tools that I may need. I pulled the pin and and can't get that back in. The cartridge should pull right out correct?

Yeah the cartridge pulls straight out. No unscrewing or anything. I pulled one out the other day myself....and it wasn't easy. Took the knob and retainer off and had to just keep pushing the stem in and out with some pliers...and finally came out.

Have you called Moen yet? I have used Moen products for years and once in a while they get hard to pull or may even leak. Everytime, I have called Moen and they have sent a new cartridge for free. Fast delivery (2-3 days). Good products, Awesome service. Call 1-800-buy-moen. Ask for consumer support. (not customer service). Good Luck.

or try 1-800-321-8809
