steam shower


Hello,This is my first time to do anything like this but I need help. I am building a new bathroom. I want a steam shower in it but haven't got enough available electric soooo I decide to do natural gas steam generator. I can't find a gas steam generator. Help please.

Thank you for your info but I can't find a natural gas steam generator for a shower.....but lots of heating food units.

Did you ever find a natural gas generator? We would like to do the same thing and I have not found a gas generator yet.

I would venture to guess that they don't exist. Steam units are located INDOORS, and that creates an issue with venting the flue gases. I'm not saying that it isn't DO-ABLE, but there probably is little demand for such a device.

Why do you want a steam shower anyway? We put these in all the time and i've never figured out what the fascination is with them.

Thanks Alan,
I think you are probably right about their availability. We were thinking of putting it under the house in the crawl space and the tub would be in the outside corner of the house so thought that would work. We want one because of the health benefits to the skin and for relaxation.
