Stand up shower

I have a stand up shower with leaking pipe behind wall (that goes to the shower head) Can't get to it from below or behind do I have to cut through the tub lining from the shower head down to fix it? I think it froze because the control cartridge broke in half.

Stand up shower

stairs leading to basement, you can see the incoming pipes in basement ceiling leading to back of shower. Going down the stairs there is sheet rock above, but that seems far away from the shower.

Stand up shower

Its a summer camp that was an old motel office that was razed (1980's) and moved lakefront. The shower/bathroom is on the first floor above the basement. The stairs go down about 5ft until you are under the shower pipes. The sheet rock is at about 4 ft down the stairs and above your head. I have no photos as I am 2+hrs away ( but will try to provide on next trip up)

Sounds like you might have to build scaffold on the steps to get at the pipings behind the shower.

Can't say for sure need more info .
