Solder a cap?
Hi, just wondering if someone could help me with a plumbing situation. I just bought a house and the laundry room was upstairs. We moved the washer and dryer downstairs yesterday and hooked everything back up as it was all ready to go. Everything there works great. I've no idea how to undo the plumbing that has been done for the upstairs. The problem I encounter is the white plastic water lines that come from the upstairs connect to the line that goes directly into the water heater. I imagine I could take off the white plastic water lines but how do I cap off where they meet the copper piping that goes directly into the water heater. Would I solder a cap onto it? Would I run into any issues?
