Solar Water Heater for Shop
I was wondering what type & brand Solar Water Heater you would recommend for my shop. I live in Central Florida and have a 28' x 45' roof side available. It is a metal roof & is properly supported (I over build everything). I was thinking a closed loop system into a exchanger tank but others say go to a open system w/potable water running through w/storage tank. I do not have a large demand for water out there but I dint want the expense of having a heater out there costing me money and I don't use the water. Would it be better to install a larger system and have a branch to the house for hot water? If I go closed system I can pump the hot fluid wherever needed to exchangers through zones or loops. I am open to any suggestions just seams a closed system would have more options like hot water and heat as well, I have NO pool nor do I want one.
