Small 1/2 BATH Design Issues
i am rehabbing a small powder room (1/2 bath) under a stair. the previous owners made this design decision. there isn't much headroom as you can imagine at the toilet, so my question is, in order to maximize my headroom space, what is the industry's smallest toilet, front to back? i heard Kohler has the RIALTO which is 25" front to back. Also i wanted to get the smallest wall hung sing which would also maximize space. any suggestions?

My only suggestion to you is rather than go with industry standard... go get the physical items first from the big hardware store by identifying the smallest one you can get, and use it to do your all constructions measurement... rather than use the theory... as existing in theory not necessary means existing in real life... and big store have six months of refund policy if by any chance you cancelled your project...

I have already made my measurements and reasearch many challenge has to do with "tight spaces" - I was just wondering if anyone had any other products or ideas that would solve my design problem. The toughest problem is having the toilet under the stair where I have the winders. I think I might cut carboard and actually build the toilet fixture and wall mounted sink and see how they "feel" - maybe doing this dry fit makes sense before ordering any products.

You also might find that there are code issues with the clearances you are concerned about. It might not be legal at all to have a bathroom in that spot. If you ever intend to sell the house, that could turn into a big problem.

yes I remember... the code has limitation of minimum size of a bath room when I applied the permit....

Huh? Legal issues? I doubt it.

The bathroom already exists. The CEO isn't going to make him remove an existing bathroom because it isn't big enough.
