slow upstairs sink drain

OK, bit of a problem. I have a master bath sink drain that has started to drain very slowly. I have removed the P trap and the drain plunger to make sure everything is clear. some hair fell out of the trap and when i turn the water on it clearly runs into the bucket. I put everything back and turn the water on and again when the trap fill with water it again drains slowly.

Any ideas?

Did you check between the trap and where it drains into the stack?

I guess I'll have to buy a snake unless there is another way to do it.

Use a flashlight first, maybe you could get away with using a wire coat hanger if you can't see the dip/bend towards the stack. And if the distance isn't too far.
