Before I call a plumber, I wanted to see if there is anything else I can do. I've tried liquid plumber, taking apart the pipes to check for clogs and snaking into the wall. BF thinks the pipe design is too low and not allowing enough pressure for draining.
There are a lot of threads here on slow kitchen drains. Try the search feature in the menu bar. You'll find lots of methods, but your BF is wrong. Pressure has nothing to do with it. Drains are designed for gravity flow not pressure.
My guess is your snake is too short. Oh, and throw away the draino. It's dangerous to you and your pipes
